MX Records and Mail Records
The Mail eXchanger record (MX record) tells mail systems how to handle mail that is addressed to a particular domain. To put it simply, if you use your domain for e-mail, you need to configure an MX record. Please review the DNS Primer for more help on DNS records.
Activation
- Login to your ClearCenter account.
- Click on
DNS|DNS Records|MX Records in the top navigation bar.
Configuration
To add MX records for your target mail domain:
- Select the mail domain from the drop-down list
- Select a priority level for the target mail server
