I have a Fedora 34 workstation that has been upgraded via their tools for years and finally going to blow it up and do a fresh install of Fedora 36.
Any tips on how to configure the workstation to automatically join the Clear OS server? So far it has been a patch job of manually mapping network drives and other resources. I would love to see Clear OS continue and also to get the networking aspect better integrated.
Clear OS just keeps chugging along and as a sign of a good network server you sometimes forget that it is there.

Fortunately I kept my VM from when I made the HowTo for a customer. I presume the Centos8 installation came with oddjob-mkhomedir installed as my bash history does not show me installing it and the dnf.rpm.log shows it installed with lots of other stuff, so I presume when I installed Centos8. The same goes for authselect.
Can you check your line breaks. It looks like you are running two lines together. It should be:
followed by:systemctl enable oddjobd --now
authselect select winbind with-mkhomedir

Thanks for the HowTo..... I think it is missing a package to install though. I had to install oddjob as following the instructions when I hit this command on the workstationsudo systemctl enable oddjobd --now authselect select winbind with-mkhomedir
I was blocked. Installing oddjob on the workstation resolved that.
Failed to enable unit: Unit file oddjobd.service does not exist.
Currently stuck on$ sudo systemctl enable oddjobd --now authselect select winbind with-mkhomedir
Failed to enable unit: Unit file authselect.service does not exist.

We have a HowTo for Centos8 - https://documentation.clearos.com/content:en_us:kb_howtos_add_centos8_workstation_to_the_samba_domain. See if you can knife and for that into sense for FC.
