There is no need to worry about the new kernel from that thread until it arrives. Just keep an eye on the thread - it could be a while yet. When it arrives, it still won't take effect until you reboot, so between the kernel arriving and rebooting, you can download the compatible driver directly from ElRepo's downloads sites.

When you update to 7.4, the kernel will update but will continue to work with the current driver. v7 kernels require the current driver, el7 kernels require the driver direct from ElRepo.

I believe the Nvidia NIC uses the forcedeth driver. Upstream, RHEL removed this in 7.x but the nice guys at ElRepo have produced a version. I have it compiled here and you are welcome to download and install it:
    wget http://www.howitts.co.uk/clearos/ClearOS_7.x/kmod-forcedeth-0.64-2.clearos7.njh.x86_64.rpm
    yum localinstall kmod-forcedeth* --nogpgcheck

If you do use this driver, please follow this thread as the driver will break when they release a stock kernel.

If this is your only NIC and you are trying to install ClearOS from scratch, please post back.
