Hello community,
First sorry for my English.
I'm new to ClearOS and I found it very interesting.
I have a problem, I'll try to explain.
I installed ClearOS as a gateway, DHCP Server firewall, Web Proxy and content filtering, I set the proxy to Non-transparent user authentication:
2 Network interfaces
1 External: DHCP - 10.0.2.15
1 LAN: Static - 192.168.0.25
I can create the firewall forwarding rules normally, they all work. My problem is as follows:
When starting only the Web Proxy Server I go on a machine on the network, set the internet proxy options to 192.168.0.25 port 3128 and when testing it asks to enter username and password, so far ok, but I want to work with Content Filtering also, I made all the configuration with the created user, however when I start the Content Filtering service and I will test it on the network machine with the internet proxy options for 192.168.0.25 port 3128, it does not open the authentication and does not the internet works.
Do you know what I might have done wrong?
Is there any other configuration I have to do?
appreciate

Please check the app documentation - the sloping book icon at the top right of the webconfig. Proxy alone is on 3128, proxy + content filter is 8080.

Also see the section about running cacheless.

Thank you very much friend Nick Howitt.
Lack of attention to mine.
