I am a huge fan of ClearOS. Have been using it for quite a while now. For one of our customer we have installed clearOS pro and Zarafa small business last year. They were using MS Office 2010. Everything was working flawlessly. We connected each outlook 2010 with Zarafa MAPI client to work as it would with Exchange server.
Recently we upgraded MS Office 2010 to MS Office 2013. The Zarafa client will not install any more. It kept saying issues with Office 2013. I downloaded the very latest Zarafa Client 7.2 from Zarafa Portal but still the same issue.
Anybody got any clue how to setup outlook 2013 to work with Zarafa MAPI?

Although Zarafa client was installed properly and i can see the plugin in Outlook new accout setup window, I now have new issue.
When i select Zarafa Server under Other to create a new box, a prompt comes up "Information Service is not installed."
After much looking it appears that this issue is normal for 64 bit version outlook. Is tha tcorrect? Do i not have any way to use Zaraf with Windows 8.1 64 bit with Outlook 2013 64 bit??
Zarafa does not support 64-bit version of outlook, you must use 32-bit version only. I doubt they will work on this as they are phasing out outlook from next year. Do you need 64-bit? I've only seen benefits if you have large spread sheets. -

Zarafa client is usually behind Outlook on the release of the MAPI client.
As such, you sometimes have to use an older minor revision of Outlook to get it happy:

Thanks for the response Dave!
My outlook version is 15.0.4711.1000. Using the older version of the Zarafa Client 7.1.6 Build 42574 worked just fine. This is an important information to keep in mind when i am setting up Outlook for my clients. -
