I used the miniupnpd-xxxx.el7.src.rpm that was current at the time..

@Tony, Can you tell me how you compiled miniupnpd? It does not have a spec file so I can't do it with "rpmbuild -tb". Did you just download the ClearOS sources and swap the miniupnpd package for the latest?

What I've done is download the ClearOS sources from ClearOS github. In my build system I've put the the files from github zip file into rpmbuild/SOURCES, apart from the spec file which went into rpmbuild/SPECS; substitute the tar.gz with the latest from the source; renamed the parth file to match and changed the version numbers in it; updated the spec file to the new version number in it and run "rpmbuild -ba miniupnpd.spec" and I've ended up with an rpm. Does this sound OK?
It does not fix the problem with the app-miniupnpd not manipulating the parameters correctly, but I can cope with that manually.

In deluge did you fix the port to 44444? In a command prompt on whatever you are running Deluge on try something like "netstat -bn" and you should be able to find which ports it is listening on. I think it should also be in the configuration file somewhere. In Windows you will need to run cmd.exe as administrator fir this command to work.

I am currently using Deluge, I have had the same problem with qbittorent. Just to add to the mix, last week I got an account with ibVPN and added the ClearOS app, but the Port Forwarding issue has been going on before that. The only time that Port Forwarding has worked for me is with MINIUPNPD. While I am quite comfortable with the Web Browser it is a totally different thing with the Command Line since I know nothing about Linux, which is fine for me the vast majority of the time since I find very few issues with the Web Browser. I have been considering buying ClearOS Home version but the 2 things that do not work in Community I am afraid will also not work in Home, the other issue I have is System Reports never have anything to report, but that is another issue I am guessing. Just as a note here is my ClearOS system:

If you are port forwarding, definitely do not open the incoming firewall.

Which torrent app are you using?

OK, had a spare 10 minutes so I tried something. I turned of Avast AV and Windows Firewall, I added a Port Forwarding in ClearOS for port 44444 TCP and UDP then tried to test it on canyou seeme.org, result "Connection Refused". I then deleted the entries in Port Forwarding and added the same port to Incoming rules and got the same result. So I am not sure what is going on.

Thanks for looking into this guys, I do not have any time to work on this till Tuesday, but I will look at it more then. Any idea why the Port Forwarding app might not work to begin with? Anyways, thanks again.

Hi Michael, I've had feedback from the devs and unfortunately the app has been withdrawn from the marketplace. You now have a couple of options, to go it alone and use something like Tony's rpm or research your torrent app and work out which ports you need. From memory we had initial problems getting it to play well with systemd but they were sorted.

Downloaded the source rpm and compiled into a binary using the latest kernel (3.10.0-514.21.2.v7.x86_64)
It installs OK - but have no means to test - use at your own risk... :-)

UPDATE:
As there were no reports of success - the rpm has been removed and is no longer available...

Hmm. Mine was installed from clearos-fast-updates but it looks like it has dropped out and is not in the marketplace either. If I get time I'll file a bug but I'm just going away for a few days.

Well I am back to this issue. I did a reinstall of ClearOS 7.3 Final and now I can not install miniupnpd. When I try to "yum install miniupnpd" I get "No package miniupnpd available." I have even tried 'yum --enablerepo=clearos-contribs install miniupnpd" and still a no go. Any ideas where miniupnpd has gone?
