Hey,
i have a problem with ClearOS 7 and Zarafa, after i did an update to version 7.2.1-51838. I need this update especially for the "webaccess fix". ClearOS 7 ships with version 7.2.0, unfortunately there are some bugs in this version, e.g the one with webaccess which is not accessible.
What i did: First enabled repo "clearos-centos" and "clearos-centos-extras" than installed the new zarafa update (rhel 7 packages) with: yum localinstall *.rpm, than working around the errors "error in preun scriptlet in rpm..." with rpm -e --noscripts zarafa-server to remove old server and so on. This step is documented in release notes of zcp 7.2.1.
Everything is working fine, but zarafa-server does not start automatically on system startup, i have to manually load it every time. For me it seems that mysql/mariadb starts after zarafa, so zarafa does not load on startup, but I’m not really sure.
Cheers
Jonas

Jonas,
This is a known bug filed with Zarafa about a month ago...it stems from now having systemd support for their daemons that would allow us to specify the order of startup.
They told me they are working towards providing new packages that include systemd unit files...no timeline was given.
In the interim...Let me try and find the best 'hack' to get around this limitation....More to come.

Until we get an update from Zarafa, we have created a temporary workaround. It's not perfect - the workaround checks the Zarafa Server process every 5 minutes to make sure it is running and will restart it when is stopped. To install this workaround, run:
yum --enablerepo=clearos-updates-testing upgrade app-base
Apologies for the hassles!
