  • What is the BIG secret??

Tony Ellis has a post titled "Kernel Panic on ClearOS 6.7 with kernel 2.6.32-573.1.1.v6 and i915 drivers ". I use the same kernel and might get informed by Tony's post should I experience issues. Yet, I get a "Sorry, you don't have sufficient credentials" when I try to read it; presumably because Tony checked the "Make this post private. Only moderators would be able to view and reply to your discussion." box.

What is the point of a public forum announcing posts the users cannot read? And if such posts really are relevant, could the forum at least identify them up front so I and others don't have to click the headline before finding out that this is not for us?

    Cheers,

    Peter
